Caprese White Pizza

Named for the Italian island of Capri, Caprese is an expression of three simple but delicious ingredients: tomatoes, mozzarella, and basil. 

We pay homage to this tradition and these timeless ingredients with this fresh white pizza. 

Ingredients:

  • Cellone’s Pizza Shell
  • Beano’s Classical White Pizza Sauce with Basil
  • Balsamic glaze
  • 1 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella (more or less depending on the size of your pizza shell)
  • 1 Roma tomato, sliced
  • Fresh basil leaves

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven according to directions on pizza shell packaging
  2. Spread Beano’s Classical White Pizza Sauce on top of the shell, covering the entire shell
  3. Drizzle balsamic glaze over the top of the sauce 
  4. Sprinkle mozzarella over the sauce, covering the shell
  5. Place slices of tomato and basil leaves evenly over the pizza
  6. Cook in the oven according to the package
  7. Take out of the oven, let sit for a few minutes, slice, and enjoy!
