Named for the Italian island of Capri, Caprese is an expression of three simple but delicious ingredients: tomatoes, mozzarella, and basil.
We pay homage to this tradition and these timeless ingredients with this fresh white pizza.
Ingredients:
- Cellone’s Pizza Shell
- Beano’s Classical White Pizza Sauce with Basil
- Balsamic glaze
- 1 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella (more or less depending on the size of your pizza shell)
- 1 Roma tomato, sliced
- Fresh basil leaves
Directions:
- Preheat oven according to directions on pizza shell packaging
- Spread Beano’s Classical White Pizza Sauce on top of the shell, covering the entire shell
- Drizzle balsamic glaze over the top of the sauce
- Sprinkle mozzarella over the sauce, covering the shell
- Place slices of tomato and basil leaves evenly over the pizza
- Cook in the oven according to the package
- Take out of the oven, let sit for a few minutes, slice, and enjoy!
