Egg on Tortilla

Indulge in the vibrant fusion of the Egg on Tortilla, elevated by a drizzle of Beano’s Roasted Chipotle Sauce, a culinary adventure your taste buds will thank you for!

Ingredients:

  • 1 flour tortilla
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/4 cup of ground breakfast sausage
  • 1/4 cup of sliced cherry tomatoes
  • Beano’s Roasted Chipotle Sauce
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese of your choice
  • 1 leaf of fresh basil

Directions:

  1. Crack the egg into a bowl, beat well, and season with salt and pepper.

  2. Preheat a non-stick skillet over medium heat.

  3. Briefly dip the tortilla in water and place it on the heated skillet.

  4. Pour half of the beaten egg onto one side of the tortilla, spreading it out evenly. Sprinkle half of the shredded cheese on top of the egg.

  5. Repeat the process with the remaining beaten egg and cheese on the other side of the tortilla.

  6. Cook the tortilla for 2-3 minutes then add the cooked ground breakfast sausage, diced tomatoes, and chopped basil. Fold each side of the tortilla.

  7. Place the tortilla on your plate and drizzle Beano’s Roasted Chipotle Sauce on top.
