Dip-Worthy Fried Pickles

Ingredients:

  • 1 jar of sandwich-sized pickle slices
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons of plain yogurt
  • 4-5 tablespoons of grated parmesan cheese (you can add more to taste)
  • 2 tablespoons of flour or cornstarch
  • A splash of 1 tsp water + 1 tsp olive oil
  • salt, pepper to taste
  • Vegetable Oil or Olive Oil
  • Beano’s Heavenly Horse Radish and Beano’s Buffalo Sandwich Sauce for dipping

Directions:

  1. In a bowl, mix together the eggs, plain yogurt, grated parmesan cheese, flour or cornstarch, a splash of water, and salt and pepper to taste until you get a smooth batter.
  2. Drain the pickle slices from the jar and pat them dry with a paper towel.
  3. Dip each pickle slice into the batter, making sure they are fully coated.
  4. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add a generous amount of oil.
  5. Once the oil is hot, add the battered pickle slices to the pan and cook until golden brown and crispy on both sides.
  6. Once cooked, remove the pickle slices from the pan and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to absorb any excess oil.
  7. Serve the pickle fritters with Beano’s Heavenly Horse Radish and Beano’s Buffalo Sandwich Sauce for dipping and enjoy!
