Pittsburgh food blogger, Alex Goodstein (@alexeatstoomuch) created this recipe that gives us serious breakfast goals!
The smokey heat of our Roasted Chipotle Sauce pairs perfectly with the creamy avocado.
Ingredients:
- 1 Slice of bread – I used fresh cut Italian
- 1/2 ripe avocado
- 1 egg
- Beano’s Roasted Chipotle Sauce
- Dash of Sea Salt.
Makes 1
Directions:
- Toast the slice of bread to your liking.
- Spread some of the Roasted Chipotle Sauce on the toasted bread.
- Slice the avocado and mash it to spread onto the toast or lay slices of avocado onto the toast.
- Season the avocado with a dash of sea salt.
- Prepare an egg to the style of your choosing. (Pictured is a poached egg, but any style will work.)
- Place the egg on top of the avocado toast.
- Top with more Roasted Chipotle Sauce.
- Enjoy!
