Buffalo Cheese Sticks

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb. packaged mozzarella string cheese sticks
  • 3 cups breadcrumbs
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 cup Beano’s Buffalo Sandwich Sauce
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • Optional: Blue cheese or ranch dressing for dipping

Directions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine Beano’s Buffalo Sandwich Sauce and melted butter then stir.
  3. Prepare three separate bowls: one with flour, one with breadcrumbs, and one with the buffalo sauce mixture.
  4. Coat a mozzarella stick in flour, ensuring even coverage.
  5. Dip the flour-coated stick into the buffalo sauce, fully coating it.
  6. Roll the sauce-coated stick in breadcrumbs for a complete cover.
  7. For extra flavor, double-coat by repeating the flour, sauce and breadcrumb steps.
  8. Place the coated sticks on the baking sheet, spaced apart.
  9. Lightly spray or drizzle the sticks with cooking oil.
  10. Bake for 8-10 minutes until golden brown and the cheese is gooey.
  11. Allow cooling briefly before serving with blue cheese or ranch dressing, garnished with green onions.
