This dish was made by my dad! This French Dip Cheesesteak with a drizzle of Beano’s Heavenly Horse Radish Sauce. The sub by itself tastes amazing in itself but dipping in the French Dip takes it to another level!
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 cup of French onion soup
- 1 1/2 cup of beef broth
- 1/2 tsp of sugar
- 2 tps of Worcestershire sauce
- 1/8 tps of salt
- freshly cracked prepper
- olive oil
- 1 boneless steak
- 2 small baguettes, split in half lengthwise
- As much Beano’s Heavenly Horse Radish Sauce as you want!
Directions:
1. For the French Dip: Combine the onion soup, beef broth, sugar, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and 3/4 cold water in a saucepan and bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
3. Reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes. Taste and season with pepper and more salt if needed. Cover and keep warm.
4. For the steak: Heat on a pan over medium-high heat. Season the steak with salt and pepper. Grill the steak for 2 -3 minutes per side for medium-rare. Let the steak rest, then slice.
5. Spread Beano’s Heavenly Horse Radish Sauce on one side of each baguette. Add the French dip to a bowl so you can dip your sub!
